Hauling bike in the pickup?

Anyone haul their bike in an F150 with the standard hooks that are in the bed? Just wondering if anyone has had any nightmarish stories from using them..whether they are too weak or if they are strong enough etc.
Any feedback would be great.

Re: Hauling bike in the pickup?

I took my Interceptor in the back of mine for about 4 hours each way.

Re: Hauling bike in the pickup?

I've hauled mine with the factory hooks in a Chevy plenty of times.

No problems with mine - '05 F150. I've always used the two front hooks in combination with the Baxley Sport Chock. Works great.

I've carried mine several times, with the stock hooks. No problem. I currently have 2 bikes (my 929 and a friends R6) in there now.
