I am not brand loyal at all, I looked at Dodge Ford and Chevy as well as Toyota. Toyota did not have too much to offer in the selection to show. | What about Nissan.
I think the Titan has the best performance numbers when you compare them. Thats why I got it. |

| Re: Yea, got a new truck today Congrats on the new truck, Hammer. I just re-tuned a buddy's 5.3 Chevy with a Superchips programmer, and it made a significant difference in performance (in case you ever find that motor lacking).
Since this has turned into a truck debate, and I consider myself to be a GM man, I'd like to add a disgruntled comment about Chevy/GMC. What is it with the low ride height of their late-model 2WD half-ton trucks? I mean, they sit so low to the ground compared to the others (Dodge and Ford). Hell, the 4WD Chevy/GMC half-tons sit at about the same height as the 2WD Dodges and Fords. Has the tuner car market influenced GM's truck design team lately or something? |

Has the tuner car market influenced GM's truck design team lately or something? | I did notice a slight lack of power compared to my work truck with the 6.0 in it so the upgrade may be in it's future. The ride height does not bother me on this 2wd but if it were a 4X4 or a 3/4ton it would make a difference. |
