NOTE TO ALL THOSE LOOKING FOR TRANSPORT

Hay guys, this just a heads up for what things to look out for when getting your bike transported AND WHAT COMPANY NOT TO USED!!

im From PERTH and I own a CBR 1000RR '05. Had it for 2 weeks now... and man is that a story and a half on how i got that!

I Bought the bike from queensland. bike was immaculate! never been scratched! ...transport company i hired didn't tie the bike in the crate properly, during transport and what do you know... tie came loose, bike fell on its side, scratched in 10 different places. luckily only cosmetic damage.

They refusing to pay for damages even though they admitted to not tying correctly! Its been 3 weeks now of negotiating then arguing, now am about to take legal action... its gonna get messy!

** COMPANY IS 'BHF TRANSPORT'**

Their arguement is that i didnt take insurance on the transport which they offered... But thats only effective if bike is damaged form natural causes or as long as they took correct procedures in their service.
They admitted to not tying the bike down properly an the outcome was bike falling over during transport... 'duty of care breached'!

so just take precaution when dealing with large transport companies. READ THE FINE PRINT!
