| Re: Trackoholics at Grattan 6/6 Trackoholics has another track day scheduled for Friday, 6/6 at Grattan Raceway. The cost is $135 which includes lunch. They run 3 groups with instruction for beginners/novices. It's a well run organization and the number of riders is limited to keep things safe. I attended their last event and highly recommend them.
Check out their site for additional dates and their track day reports Trackoholics

Is this the group you told me about at Cotu? Also, do you get the water wetter stuff at any auto parts store?

| Hey Dave! No, this is an organized track day...the private track days I told you about previously are more of an open track day. Definitely sign up if you're interested...you'll have a great time.
I found Water Wetter at my local dealer. You can probably order it onlineif you can't find it locally.

I'm going to Grattan on the 16th to take a Reg class, and I'll hope to make a Trackoholics date in July or August. But keep me in mind if you need another backmarker....

| Re: Trackoholics at Grattan 6/6 Had a great time at Grattan at the Trackoholics event. *We had 18 riders TOTAL! *The weather was perfect, the tires stuck like glue, and my laptimes kept dropping all day...can't wait until the next time. *
Trackoholics.com is run by a couple of guys who wanted to put on track days with a limit on the number of riders. *They used to work for Sportbike Tracktime, but were unhappy with the overcrowding (STT had 53 riders on the track at Grattan in one session) that was occurring at many of their events. *They offer 3 groups (school/novice, intermediate, advanced/race) and cater to all levels of riders. *Cost is $125 (pre-register) and it includes a nice lunch and drinks. *It's a very well run organization. *They have additional days scheduled for 7/15, 8/6, and 9/18. *I highly recommend Trackoholics to anybody looking for some great *quality* track time at Grattan. *

Had a friggin' blast! *The XT Laptimers are really cool. *It's great seeing the improvement in your times. *The Baketech Bracket worked great. *
I was running Michelin Pilot Races (not S2/M2). *They handled well with no squirming. *They did wear a lot but I was running pretty low pressures. *They were cheap so I thought I'd give them a try. http://www.fireblades.org/iB_html/up...1__Custom_.jpg

The link was a nice track day report! I did not see a link to future track days or schedule. Did I miss it? Is there a schedule for trackoholics days and locations? |
