Track Day Pics and a question...
Hiya group!

Did a "trackday" (they just opened the gates and let us in..lol) on Sunday.

It was great till I lost the front and lowsided. I wasn't hurt at all, but the bike needs new a right clip-on, signal and fairing... ouch!

Does anybody know any online store that sells and ships Honda parts in Europe?

the one that I am on my own is a couple of seconds before the lowside... too much lean... less than adequate throtle.... lol

Man.. "Sarakakis" is going to have a field day with you

Translation: "Sarakakis" is the sole Importer/Distrubuter for Honda here in Greece. His prices are quadruple to any thing else out there.... All OEM parts, accessories, bikes, cars etc...

That's why we try and get OEM parts/accessories from other sources. Even though we get "dicked" big time at customs, it still works out cheaper.

As for the cost of OEM parts... I've contacted various local dealers and received a variety of prices... some hard and vibrating others a bit more mellow and strawbery flavoured...

To get things in perspective the turn signal that you US guys can buy for 50 USD (about 42 Euros), dealers are trying to sell it to me for 66 Euros up to more than 100 Euros..

As, Athens954 mentioned above, the Greek importer is, let's say, inadequate in his warehouse operations. So, many dealers import stuff themselves and then charge us what they please...

I hope the central distributor has the parts that I need.. if not.. I'm dead

Yep, it's one of my ridding buddies' busa, painted black-matte. I gave him my cbr for a few laps and he liked it a lot...

If it is an organised trackday (i.e. a css class or other) we tape up headlighes and stuff, but otherwise it is not obligatory to do so.
