| Re: Learning Curves Racing School I am interested in attending the Learning Curves Race School at VIR in June. *Although I have seen some posts regarding attendance by others, not much was noted about the content of the school. *Can anyone comment on their experiences with LCR ? *
Thanks! |

| Re: Learning Curves Racing School lot of guys I ride with got their race licences from Rick at LC - from what I've heard the intro class is just enough info to get you through a race safey, not much on riding skills but more on race procedures. The advanced class is supposed to be great - among other things they take specific corners and work on them.
Again - what I've heard, I've never done a LC class myself...
edit - as a matter of fact, my buddy's dad and brother are taking the class as we speak, I'm going to head out and see how their doing in a few |

| Re: Learning Curves Racing School I am 'that guy'
I did the LCR class last year and my brother and father just completed it yesterday (both passed with my brother SMOKIN my dad in the 'exhibition race' )
Like phozed mentioned its heavy on the race procedure/bike prep/safety and lighter on riding... I did walk away with some riding/racing tips that have helped me. Their main focus is to try to make sure you learn everything you need to know to make your 1st raceday a safe and enjoyable one. My brother/father and I all agreed it was a fun experience and much was learned.
If your wanting to get your race license and have some fun....do it!
if your looking for lots of tracktime and riding instruction I'd choose a different program. |

| Re: Learning Curves Racing School I took the LC class with vtr996's dad and brother last weekend as well. Excellent instructors, enough track time, and a good rundown of the rules and flags. |
