Summit Point 4/24

Just moved from CA to VA and am goint to my 1st east coast track with NESBA on the 24th of APRIL. Is there gonna be anyone from here going? Do they usually have tire service at the track? What is the "Jefferson Loop" like?
It looks a little like the Streets of Willow coures.

Re: Summit Point 4/24

Don't know if NESBA has tire services or not. Personally, I think the Jefferson course SUCKS. It's very, very slippery. They also use it to train police and the cars spill antifreeze and stuff all over it. The main course is awesome, though! If you ride the main course, don't be afraid to ride over the concrete patches...that's where the line is and there's plenty of traction (unless it rains. That course has lousy wet traction). I ride with another northeast club, Reduc Sportbike Association. We rented the Jefferson Circuit once. Never again as no one liked it. The other two clubs, NESBA and Team Promotion, use it, however. They will also be opening a new circuit there at the end of May...the Shenendoah Circuit. It's supposed to be nice.

Yikes! Thanks for the reply. I'll take it easy, the "Streets" at Willowis sort of like that, short, tight, and rough.
