So I'm one step closer to being ready for the track come Thursday. Bike is running like a scalded ape with pipe and jet kit; new boingers have really improved things in the handling department; and now I've got some premium rubber to go along with it... | Although Tiger was probably talking about not needing the 208gp or 208gpa.... |

Less to replace if you fall, easier to work on the bike without 'em, and you get to enjoy the eye candy of the 'mechanicalness' of the thing - it's a machine, after all! |

| Re: Chain's going to the track! Anyone want to tell me what tire pressure to run in these 208s? I put 34 up front, 38 in the rear when I scrubbed 'em in today with a semi-spirited street ride. |

| Re: Chain's going to the track! Not sure on those Dunslops...but on the supercorsas I usually run 31/29 as recommended by the Pirelli guy, couple pounds higher for the Diablo corsas. |

| Re: Chain's going to the track! In the Michelins I run 30 front, 28 rear but the one time I used 208GP's last year I remember them recommending a little higher pressure. I'd guess around 32-33 front, 30 rear would be a good baseline. Ask Milroy.

Um, Tiger - I thought you put more pressure out back than up front. What gives? |

| Re: Chain's going to the track! No shite?! Color me surprised. I could have sworn my OE on both the 954 and my FZ1 talk about 42 pounds rear, 36 pounds front (admittedly for street tires, street riding).
Confused,
Chain |

Confused,
Chain | OEM pressure are recommended that way. I would guess to account for the loads that could be applied when 2up riding????? On the track I know that the tire guys say more in the front than the rear though. It was explained to me why at one point but I forgot. |
