Latest track days

OK everyone...I know its early in the season...and possibly cold in your parts...BUT track day pics...post'm if you got'm..

http://www.sliderphoto.com/bin/photo...0&Event=041704

4/18 The first day of the season at Blackhawk Farms in Rockton Illinois. Brand new front suspension with NO baseline to start from...SCARY!!! anyway, it took most of the day to get the front reasonably sorted where I could turn some fair laptimes. It is still not where it should be, but getting better.

The Pictures from Thursday at Road America wont be posted until the photographer gets done with the Formula USA races this weekend. The A session was a ZOO with all the racers practicing for the weekend..chose the "I" group and diced it out with Lindsey from the board several sessions.....NICE last session with him...we were rolling in an 8 bike pack for the last 3 laps tire to tire the whole way through...GOTTA LUV THAT SHIZZZZZ.....

pics are up... http://www.sliderphoto.com/bin/photo...0&Event=042204

Re: Latest track days

I am going to Jennings later today(sat) I am stuck at work till noon and then, I, AM, OUT! 4 hour drive and I will camp out and ride sun & mon. I will bring back some fresh pics. " early in the season" Heck I was thinking this will be the last cool wheather weekend to ride. After this it's sweaty leathers,, Hot. I got a brand new Micron oval that got delivered yesterday and I intend on running 1/2 day sunday with the stocker till lunch and then break out the tools and swap in the squid pipe. That way I can feel the difference. I can't wait to get the hell out of here!!!!!!!!

those glasses fit really well under my helmet and did not let any of their frames in my peripheral vision.....the yellow helmet is a MUCH better quality helmet (Carbon and kevlar) than my other helmet BUT I dont have a tinted visor...I guess its time for polar optics..I did switch to my Icon with tinted visor lafter the first couple sessions..

At Beaver, did you just go to the track or did you have to go
with a group like NESBA?

I think you have to go with one of the track day organizers...NESBA, Teampromotion, Sportbike Track Time, Reduc, etc. I don't think BeaveRun has it's own motorcycle days.

How is beaver Run this year...I did it its first year open and there was water runoff issues..streaks of water draining accross the apex on the front lefthand dogleg... plus there was no grass yet. Fun track though! the T4,5,6 series takes a few sessions to get used to!
