Well Wednesday is the big day, my first track day up at NHIS in Loudon, NH. My A*'s SMX-PLUS (white) boots and A*'s SP-1 (Grey) gloves came in today....both are damn comfy in case your wondering. Going to remove my "peg feelers" or whatever those things are called, as well as my rear mud flap (finally) and stock blinkers this weekend after that she'll be ready to go...tape up my lights and remove my mirrors also. talk about nervous though holy Plus the forecast says T-Storms that day, hope the weather prediction is wrond as usual. Plenty o pics on the way I am sure, Dont worry NHF I'll be in contact with you.

No reason to be nervous - you're going to have an absolute blast. Just remember that it's not a race and ride at the pace you're comfortable with. Riding on the track is the most fun, exciting thing I've ever done, and I bet you'll feel the same way. Have a great time!

my small bit of advice is put a big piece of duct tape over your speedo...

Cool. Im not sure what kind of tape you are using but Duck brand Duct tape has a '7 day clean release' policy I beleive, and if you dont want to duct it up - get blue painters tape (Scotch brand only) that stuff is very nice.

Oh I'll be there for sure....thats cool if what you heard is true, I'd love to be wrong about rain tomorrow, gotta at least get some dry track time in.

I spoke with him for a few minutes last night on AIM and he was exhausted. I just kept asking question after question and gave him no time to answer. So once he gets some sleep I'm sure he'll post up, cause if he doesn't then I will when I hear about his day.

Well I cant say how disappointed in myself I am right now , the day was fun JayRoot did a great job organizing the event , HUGE PROPS to NHF for the fantastic photos he snapped throughout the day, mine are embarassing since the most my bike leaned was when it was on the kickstand in the pits, but I'm the only one to blame for that, I'll post a full report with pics when I get home from work.

That was great. I remember the excitement I had on my first track-day. I thought I was leaning my bike way over until I saw some photos of me. I was in denial at first and was saying, "Man, I wish they would have gotten me when I was really leaned over" until I realized that I just wasn't over as far as I thought. It's amazing how far you can crank it over before a puck touches down.
