I've been to CMP once. It's fun....alittle bumpy since they also run cars on it. I've only done 2 trackdays w/ nesba...both at barber..I think they are over rated. They seem to be more concerned about there own track time then help newbs. 2 day event at barber and they never have a tire vendor on site. Membership use to be 75$...so 225$ for CMP worth it? Depends...how bad you're jones-n to ride!

Re: CMP

been a nesba member for 2 years, dont really care about their attitudes or them helping me. I find better instruction by following the fast guys and doing my own thing. It is just a club, not a school.

Thanks for your info about CMP though

I guess of the 34 people so far that have looked at it, that nobody is going

Little too far of a drive for me, unless it was Laguna SECA I cant imagine it would be worth it.

Re: CMP

Sorry CMP isn't on my racing schedule so I have no need to run CMP. Go with STT at Barber in June instead!!!!!

I was just there yesterday bubba. I dragged quikmike's POS yamaha with me too. Its a cool track, open and flowing at first then a point and shoot section of hard slow corners. Mike and I both had a good time there. Lots of sand in the pits...

I don't know if I'd pay $150 a day to ride it with nesba though...

like Charlie said, it's a pretty good little track...in the middle of nowhere in SC though...anyways, to me, the track is divided into two sections: a smooth flowy section that includes a carousel and then a tight and techincal part that works both sides of the tires.....$150 seems a tad pricey to me to run it with NESBA, but you should go...you'd have a good time me thinks be careful in Turn 1 because it gets a lot of folks...
