CA Speedway Track Day

In Fontana, CA

A friend and I did a track day this past weekend, with Fast Track Riders. Since it was our first time, we were required to attend the Novice School, but we were still out on the track with the Beginner riders(Level I). Since I haven't really been on my bike in awhile, I was taking it easy in the beginning, focusing on execution of the instructions learned. But as I got comfortable, I started opening up a bit.
What a great experience! We were using the AMA course layout, and it had good variety. The high banking was unnerving at first, especially where it comes back into the infield. I don't have a damper yet (I'm sure to get one now), so the chicane at the end of the banking would unsettle my front end at times.
Anyways, I am getting hooked. I am seriously getting just a track only bike. I'm not sure yet if I want to do it with my 929 or get a 600 or sv650, maybe even a ducati 748/749. It seems like a few folks on the org are getting duc fever

By the way, were there any .orgers out in Fontana this past weekend? I saw a couple other fireblades that day, but didn't really get to talk to them since I was in the classroom in between sessions.
