Can u see whats wrong with the first pictures(other than the fact that I haven't taken off the rear fender yet )?
Hint: Its windy. |

| Re: Some Tracj day pics Yeah, he crashed...I watched the whole thing..... I was 2 bikes behind him. *I saw him lean over, said uh oh to myself, then saw the sparks flying and then the dirt in the air. *
It was a beginner's mistake....too much entry speed, too many mid-turn corrections and minimal knowledge of how to handle that kind of speed when in a turn. *A learning experience for Gautam. *He settled down the ramainder of the day and focused on becoming more smooth with his turns. *He did much better as the day progressed. *

nomad : Hence the different helmets as well.
| well...the red helmet was a demo which I had to return after a session and it didn't have scratch. I guess I did the pregnant-woman-delivering-position while crashing - legs, hands wide apart and head up .
The only thing damaged was the glove.
In the pics below, I am doing a post crash 'system-check' before getting on my feet. |

| Thought I will show some 4th july fireworks ....see, what if I cannot pull a wheelie, I have my own bag of tricks.
After getting some good tips from Hondagals, my riding improved a lot. |

No pics of Gautam in his chair although there were many opportunities.
Have fun at Summit Point! You'll have plenty of opportunities to practice fast corners. |

| The post is about my first Track pictures and not track day itself. This was my second 2-day event.
It did shake my confidence going thru the same turn - a double apex with elevation. I slowed down for the rest of the event and was rising faster(lap time), smoother and had lot of fun doing so. |

| Re: Some Tracj day pics The fun part is showing these pictures to co-workers and friends who have never been near a motorcycle. U get all kinds of adjectives - from 'crazy', 'insane', 'dangerous' to 'cool','wow' etc.
Anyway, I have one 8x10 at work. I feel alive everytime I look at it. Breaks the monotony from work and takes me to a dream land for couple of minutes. |

| Nice pics! I put up a couple of 8x10's of me at Mid-Ohio and have gotten all of the same responses. Best part of it is that whenever I'm getting pretty steamed, I'll just look up and disappear for awhile. |
