| Back from Trackoholics July 23rd, reflection and ohhh a story I get up at 3:00 AM to head out to the track from Indiana. All set, bike, tools, gear, keys, and etc... Gave my dog a pat on her tummy and leaned over to my wife, told her I love her and see her soon. She told me to be safe and I told her I would and kissed her on her tummy, cause that is where our new baby is at (a little announcement for all my friends here.... she is 6 weeks along ). I roll down the highway enjoying life, listening to some classical music.
I get five miles from the track....... and all of the sudden all of my gauges light up, the RPMs crash and the truck stalls (any guesses yet ). I had all my tools, so I tested the battery, showing 13 volts.... ok good. Turn the key dead. So I am guessing.... answer is crashe alternator
Get a tow, nice guy had lots of questions, had the pine tree air freshner in the truck.... Talked about my bike. Got to town...... Guy says bad alternator and I have some Good News and Some Bad News. I am thinking well this is going to be bad for me.... I am going to get the truck fixed and go home. He said bad news is I will not get the part until 3PM, the good news is the guys and I want to help you get the bike off the truck so you can go riding. That's what your here for right? So they help me unload.... I ride the 15 minute trip in full gear with taped glass, no mirrors, and no plates. Thank God no Cops to be seen .
Get to the track Jim is there to greet me, I am 20 minutes late, told him the story, he smiled and said I am glad your here. I forgot all about the events that unfolded.
Got 5 sessions in, met some great people hung out with Abtech, great guy, and very supportive. CBRVFR what ever you call Dave, awesome guy, and Nick the Frenchy was cool watched him tear the place on that 2 stroke again.
Had some awesome moments..... seeing 90 MPH in turn one.... I know no speedometers stupid. Making turn 2 a great turn to rip it up. Struggling with the Ss which was awesome, because it was a challenge. The greatest thrill was I had a girl at the track time me with my stop watch and I turned a 139.63, which I can completely say thank you to G force Junkie..... GFJ I got turn 4 nailed and I was bringing it way deep at the bus stop. It also helped when I made a huge tire adjustment, I was at almost 42 lbs in the rear warm and we shaved it to 34 and I had a lot more rear tire.
Rode back to the dealership, they had my car ready, and two diet cokes in the truck. I thanked em and told em I would take the whole staff out for drinks. The owner does shifter carts and asked me if I wanted to go out riding with him, since he had two and showed me..... I mean WOW.
Got home, changed real quick, played softball... won the game..... had the benches clear twice. Went home kissed my wife and she was off to work.
JIM if you read this, you and your crew is awesome.... I hope to one day be good enough to help people become better riders. I think as an educator, I would love to teach others confidence and how to appreciate their machine.
Thanks for reading all of this.... Please reply to let Jim know what his group does is a good thing and is a great environment.

| Re: Back from Trackoholics July 23rd, reflection and ohhh a story Nothing was more fun, then thinking I was rolling on the gas hard, when from the inside comes Abtech on that beefy RC51 and Jim from Trackoholics on the outside on his Kaw. I just giggled to myself and tried to hook in. |

Glad to here you enjoyed yourself.
Now you just have to come back on the 13th and run it backwards

I loved it....... I am planning, I am trying to get a friend to go in the novice group. If he goes, could I hop in to a couple novice sessions to watch him ride? |

As for Dave and my dish cleaning problem.
Actually the problem with that is we eat about one meal a month at home so dishes are rarely a problem.
Getting the pictures on her site. Now thats a whole nuther issue.
Anyways, track report is up and I may if I get them dishes done get her photos on line tonight.
Thanks for coming out guys!
