Thinking about going this day but have to get all my other crap sorted out first. Don't want to go solo either.

Sounds like quite a few people are going. I will be there riding in the novice group. I have never done a trackday with trackoholics or at Grattan.

Check the website, as I don't think safety wire is required especially for the novice group (but please check, as I haven't read the tech requirements lately).

There is a small hotel that isn't bad less than 10 minutes from the track called the Candlestone . If you are looking for something a little more cosmopolitan, try the Radisson . If you call the Radisson, mention Grattan Raceway for a discounted room rate.
