Going to T-Hill with STT & Racercutie on 8-18-2004 *Story just in*

Wooo hooo, just found out I can go to T-hill on Aug 18 with STT. It'll be my first time, and a pretty long haul, but from what I've heard...it's worth the drive from here.

Anyone else gonna go? Come on all you Northern bad boys and girls...let's have a great time! Join Racercutie & I at T-hill

I'm going up North tonight to pick up a bike from someone on BARF with a friend, then next Tuesday I'll head out for T-hill early so I can be all ready for the Wed morning fun.

Why, you still off work, and wanna tag along tonight?

I'm replacing the RR, soldering a new plug from the stator (my old RR burned them out).
I was hoping to replace my new fork springs, but I think I just want to get the bike going first.
Oh and pulling off the wheels to get fresh rubber on them.
I'm sure it'll fix the charging problem.

(I don't want to take the Mito. It's too pretty for the track.)

Coolio....I bet you could get someone to help from BARF if needed. Not saying you need it, but I'd like to see you be able to make this one. There is a girl that goes by Pinky from So Cal that is going ...she's always a lot of fun .

Well I had a mechanic scheduled to come over simply because I had no time to work on it this week. He ended up flaking because he though I figured it out.

Just got back home - We had a blast at T-hill!
25 peeps showed up, two groups. It was blazing hot.
SPEED was riding really well given his first time on this track. I wasn't doing too shappy either (except off-roading past turn 14).

I'll post pics later.

Thanks for inviting me to join you out at Thunderhill RC, it was a blast even though I was going on one hour sleep .

You and Leigh were looking great out there, and it was nice to see how well you two hit it off . I think you may have found a riding partner .

Took me a few sessions to start figuring out where I was on the track after hanging in the Intermediate Group. After Following Todd from Cal-Sportbike around to find a good line, I felt comfortable enough to hit up the Race Group after lunch & a short nap in the truck with the AC on. A couple of Todd's staff happen to Race with WSMC and one was kind enough to tow me around for a bit in the Race Group......what a good time it was picking up the pace. We started passing most of the peeps out there after a few laps. One lap Mr. #2 at WSMC came passed us in turn two and the pace got even quicker....went to pass the guy I was following while exiting turn 7 into turn 8, but had to slam on the brakes when he took the tighter line I was on. Forgot where I got passed him, but made a run for the other guy and nearly caught him just before he exited the track. What a blast i
