Kind of, there is a 133 in duct tape on the tail section--yep she broke her ankle in two places--first session/first day--bummer---well as least you met my dog--he was the big one

Hey G-Force, missed you again. I was in the tent trailer across from TrackHo and next to Mattress.
Good to meet and ride with you Mattress. Need to get you up to N. Cal.
How did the vids come out? Did you get my off track? I got a double thumbs up from the guy in the start/finish tower. Wild ride!
I got some pictures but have not downloaded yet. Got home, went to bed, I will unpack tonignt.

It was my first time on the track. Nice layout but some bad pavement spots compaired to Thunder Hill. I realy liked the 3,4,5,6 turn sequence. Turn, turn, turn,,turn. right, left, blind right, right.
I all so loved the long right sweeper. You just lean and twist!

I had a great time!

Bummer. Real nice lady. But she will ride again.

That was probably me. lol I was not trying to race you as I was still figuring the track out. I wanted to see if you bike would pull on my bike being that mine is stock. Cowboy has me convinced my bike is sick. My tires where shot as well. But it was a good time I got down to 2:04 I'm happy being that it was my first time out there. With any luck I'll be able to his the 2 mark by next race weekend there. I believe you where also the person who came into our garage and started shouting at my friend because he put his hand up in the esses. I understand you where frustrated but I believe there was a more diplomatic way to approach him. He is a good guy and always has been a curtious rider. He put his hand up in the esses just to for warn anyone behind him that he was going to be pulling off. From my understanding (please correct me if I'm wrong) you attempted to pass him in the esses. It is my feeling/opinion that the esses is a tricky (higher risk) area to be passing people on. Furthermore I've seen other people do the same thing. When I see someone raise their hands to exit that to me means caution and pass either on the outside or on the straight. I guess I was dissapointed in your approach...not trying to start a fight but I feel something needs to be said based on some of the comments I heard from you. If by some chance this was not you I appologize and ingnore this post.

Nice meeting you too, thanks again for giving me a hand with the preload. *Vids came out awesome, haven't captured them yet, didn't get your off-roading, got my slide pretty well, looks great on the tv. *I pretty much got home, unloaded and went to bed too, I'm still dead tired.

Yes that was me---where I come from--once you put your hand up---you get off the f&%$#ckn race line---period--it was covered in the riders meeting--period--Your buddy
1) shouldnt of been running in the race group on a friggin XX
2) shot his left arm up in the SSSs--I was trying to be considerate by NOT passing him thru the sweeper prior to the SSs,
3)he temporarily got off the race line--I started to pass--

4) he wacked the throttle//used the entire track--I had to use all the curb *to avoid him--I dont know how we missed

---Heres the answer---DONT PUT YOUR HAND UP until you are ready to get off the raceline--experienced riders 'assume' you are getting off the race line when your hand/foot goes up---end of story

BTW---if your buddy would have come to me..instead of me having to ferret him out...I would have been more sensitive...
Not very diplomatic after almost getting taken out at 100MPH by an XX on the track

I was running 2:01.XXs-2:03s--I think your 2:04 estimate is a tad oprimistic--lest me would have seen more of each other

Well I'm happy you don't have an ego and great communication skills. Best of luck with you times. Maybe my lap timer was lying I'll take your word on what you think my times where. Safe passing in the esses.....

Whatever dude----I am pretty straight-forward in what I say and do---If I #### up--I go over and apologize---regardless of who is 'popping-off' in the garage-- tact, hurt feelings or NOT--dont really care--more concerned 'bout my/others health than 'excuses'

the only reason I got pissed was the guy wouldnt even admit what he did.....thats why they REPEATED it at the riders meeting Sunday Morning

Interesting you changed your post.... I'm not looking to start a fight. I agree with you on raising your hand when you are ready to get off the race line. I'm 100% with you on that. But from my understanding this happened in the esses. There is not much room to manuver. I also don't appreciate you calling me a liar and then implying I was a danger to other people with my corner speeds. I was not a consistant 2:04 that was my best time and I was happy with that being that I was learning the track. I believe I gave you plenty room to go by into 1. If not I appologize. I was not 'dragracing' I was simply comparing my stock 929's pull with your modded 929 as previously stated.

1) I didnt call you a liar--I have NO idea what kind of lap-time measuring device you had--when I saw you briefly--it didnt look like 2:04---we all have faster laps than others--if you have a Micron/X-T Then---I have No reason to doubt your times
2) Let me know next time you are at the track--It would be fun to dice with another compitent 929
3) BTW--I was running 15/46 gearing--awesome for BW
4) I was doing ALOT of passing both days, probably over 100 for both days---this particular pass was by far the most dangerous and should have been the easiest--I dont want to beat this to death--but in the future--it would be MUCH more appropriate to signal AFTER the SSs
5) After such an encounter, I am usually pretty jacked on adrenaline--thus the curt nature of my inquiry---I really don't think your buddy knew how close it was from his perspective---BUT if I would have gone off track and dumped--then what??
6) Interesting or NOT I changed my post, to avoid more drama--what you did didnt really endanger anyone, I was looking more forward to some dicing company than anything else--it just kind of threw me off---Looks like my bike is a tad less stable at speed too---didnt know it you noticed--makes it more fun
7) Only engine mod is a MIcron Serpent/PC3--and gearing

And this brings up a good point for anyone. *After something happens on the track, you are too damn fired up to talk to anyone. *You should go back to your pit, get your helmet off, drink some water and relax a bit. *Then, go talk to the guy or girl.

Re: Trackdayz, 8-2&3, buttonwillow, ca

WOW Thanks for the pics MIKE!!!

Yeah It was a good day except for all the crashes. A rider was DOWN EVERY SINGLE SESSION except one. 6 by lunch. Amazing. As you all can see in my fabolous pics I am so fast...(yeah right). It was weird we didnt get to see or meet any other org members. I guess I was the ONLY org member in the SLOW group. Mike and I hung out a little and he was on a mission to find other members..but...alas there werent any. In fact I dont remember seeing any other CBRs there...strange.

regarding Dustin...he wrecked on a RHINO's RC51. The bike was all tricked out rims, ohlins etc....yeah Dustin felt really bad. But he is going to replace and fix everything so it should be ok, and Dustin called the owner right away too so its cool.

I enjoyed the track as it was wider then streets, but I am still scared so I was riding at my own slow pace, plus with guys crashing left and right..it was kinda scary.

and the last pic of my rash on the tail section? that was the damage from a lowside on a freeway on ramp a few months ago.

good times...and not bad for my 2nd time on a track. I am soooo stiff. I cant seem to loosen up. I grip so tight and my body is just stiff. Things I need to work on.

Thank you and I appreciate your reply. Mike on the blackbird would never do anything to put anyone at risk intentionally. If anything I believe the heat and exhaustion must have gotten to him. If in fact he did get off the race line and then get back onto the race line that is a big no no and I will reiterate this to him. I cannot comment on what happened because I was not there.

I would much enjoy doing another trackday with a competitive 929. I know mine is down on power compared to cowboys (his pulls much harder) and I found in the last few AFM races that everytime I got around someone (other 929) in 14 (t-hill) they would just pass me again in the front straight it has been a very frustrating prediction. I'm conviced my bike is running too rich and am hoping to have a custom map made soon. BW is a very fun track and I'm kicking myself for not having put fresh rubber. I had the rear end slide on my over the chrest of the hill and it spooked me for the rest of the weekend. I 'hope' I'll be able to get more competitive times next at next months races.
