Re: Track Schools

Reg Pridmore's CLASS is a great starting point. His son doesn't do bad either, but Reg will baby you a bit more. He's a great confidence builder.

Re: Track Schools

STAR baby's you as well. I thought it was great and really improved my skills. Two day course is the best though I only went to one day.
Try Lance Keigwin's school as well. He runs novice, intermediate, and I think an advanced. Great guy. Great instructor!

Re: Track Schools

Laguna & Infineon (Sears Point) costs more, but are the nicest tracks, and depending on time of year can have the best weather - Thunderhill in Aug could easily be over 100 degrees. Same for BW. Of course, if you do not go until Oct. Weather at TH & BW could also be very nice.

Re: Track Schools

Looks like the only schools available are scheduled for Sept, Oct. So weather shouldnt be a factor. Thunderhill layout looks cool.

Re: Track Schools

I did two days with Keith Code, at laguna, http://www.superbikeschool.com/us/index.shtml
Expensive, but worth every penny. The second day everthing just clicked, I was jumping up and down when I got back to the pits. Best day of riding I have had.
I am going to Lances
http://www.keigwin.com/ Intermediate, at Thunder Hill on the 22nd. I'll review it.

I could only do one day at STAR. There was soooo much to learn that I really needed to go the second day to apply those skills.
You'll have tons of fun on the second day!
