| Re: Jason Pridmore Star School in Michigan 2005 ohhhh, I so want to. I'll have to wait to see if I can though. BTW, I mailed your windscreen today.
I realized that I don't know your last name, so be looking for a box that just has your first.

| Re: Jason Pridmore Star School in Michigan 2005 Worth the money? I say absolutely! I went through two days with Jason last year in Nevada, and I'd do it again for sure. |

Great time a few weeks ago in Pahrump.
Be agressive and with the instructors to get their time.
I doubt I'd pay to do it again but it's worth doing. |

| Re: Jason Pridmore Star School in Michigan 2005 I am interested for sure, but, I have to see how the money situation is by then. If the exchange rate is good I may be able to afford to go. |

| Re: Jason Pridmore Star School in Michigan 2005 I've been wanting to take STAR school for the past few years. Unfortunately, there aren't any local to me. Loudon would be the closest, but it's not my favorite track. I'm watching the calendar, hoping he adds dates at Barber again. That would be worth a road trip! Otherwise, I may have to think about Gingerman... |

Penguin Racing School does classes there all the time. Sucks that no one has said its a particularly great track but it'd be better than nothing as far as I'm concerned.

FWIW, Penguin is a race school and not the best choice for one's first trackday experience, especially if you're not considering going racing. |

You can skip that and just do more track time and not get your license. I haven't looked really in depth at it yet. I think just a regular track day is more of what I want though. One of my biggest concers is the leather suit, I don't want to spend a few hundred dollars on one for one trackday when I don't know if I'd do more. I'm worried about the rental ones because I'd need a really small one, so I'd have to go check that out first, Luckily the Penguin office is like 20-30 minutes away from me.

I don't really wanna go halfway across the country to find out if I'll like the track or not (I probably will and end getting addicted)

They just posted the CLASS schedule for 2005.
EDIT: It looks like Reg is feeling the pressure from the other trackday organizations. He's reduced their prices to be more competitive. Revised Price Policy

| Re: Jason Pridmore Star School in Michigan 2005 I'm with Red Rider, CLASS would be ideal, but he doesn't run anywhere in the northeast anymore. Keep checking the schedule at his son Jason' school, here Last year he held a school at Loudon. I know you can use Penguin as track time, but you won't get the kind of instruction that a school like CLASS, Star, or Keith Code's Californina Superbike School provides.
Edit: Keith Code runs schools at Watkins Glen, NY and Pocono, PA. watch for the 2005 schedule here
I see know that Penguin is running trackdays, in addition and seemingly separate from their race schools. That must be fairly new, I wasn't aware of it. Sounds ok, but see if you can talk to someone who's done it.

I got all winter to think about stuff and pick the brains of you people.
