I'm booked in for a race school at the Creek next Monday.
There are still a couple of spots left if any Sydneysiders are thinking of having a go which is why I'm posting this.
This school is run by
Circuit Breakers and I've heard some great reports.
Apart from the reviews there are a couple of other factors in deciding to do this.
Some of Oz's top racers (eg Daniel Stauffer, Shannon Johnson, Damien Cudlin and
Warwick Nowland) will be among the on- and off-track instructors.
They take you on a track walk and give you the inside info on lines etc.
I was hoping Josh Brookes would be there too as he had great success on his 954 but it appears not this time.
Terry Hay will be there to set up supsension (and sell Racetech stuff as well).
Apart from cornering, braking etc the race school covers race starts too which should be interesting.
The cost is $299 which is not much more than the cost of a track day now that the responsibility
for running EC ride days has been awarded solely to the Oz Superbike School which means they have
upped the midweek price to $199 and reduced track time to 6 x 20 min session
I predict that people will vote with their wallets and the price will come down.
I'll post a report on the day next week.
