| Track Day Checklist I've been developing a little track day travel checklist, borrowing from a few different lists I've seen on the web. Here's a PDF copy.
Anyone have any suggestions for additions or changes?
No comments about extra Ducati parts, or bringing along a mechanic, comedians! |

| Re: Track Day Checklist I'd add to the list an extra set of tie-down straps and a couple of extra sets of soft ties.
Also, some common sizes of extra bolts, such as bodywork, drain plug, etc.

Also, I like having a clock stuck to the trailer to know when my session is coming up...

I always bring my own!
I like her to have a fresh cold water ready as soon as my helmet comes off. |

You don't necessarily need tire warmers - unless you're at racer level, which most of us are not. Heck, my first couple of trackdays about all I brought was the bike, a small tool box, gas and my hat and sunglasses. I had a two-piece Cortech suit (no leathers), and rode in hiking boots! (see photo below)
It takes some time to get everything on the list, but you sure don't need all of it to get started. |

| Re: Track Day Checklist Hey, you forgot my suggestions! Really, if you're trailering, have a spare set of tiedown straps. You never know when you or someone else is going to need them. If they show any signs of fraying, they're done. |

The extra tie-downs also come in handy for tying down your EZ-Up to coolers, gas cans or other heavy objects when the wind picks up.
Thanks HG2! |

Swiss army knife to cut away shredded fairings

| Re: Track Day Checklist I also bring extra fluids (brake fluid, oil, distilled water), some tubing (bleeding brakes, siphoning gas), small 12V air compressor, and a box of spare parts (nuts, bolts, washers, etc). I subscribe to the philosphy that it's better to bring it and not use it...
You might want to add check air pressures to the Bike Prep list
