EXCLUSIVE VIDEO: bwhip pulls a "ND4SPD"

Yes, the rumors you've been hearing are true. There was an "off-track" incident at Thunderhill on Tuesday. Apparently, shortly after passing a couple of people on the straight between turns 13 and 14, bwhip carried a bit too much speed into the hairy turn 14, was reluctant to grab too much front brake, and quickly ran out of track!

Soon, everyone at the track was calling bwhip "Zoltan!"

Good save, keep that pretty wop-rocket looking pretty. Doesn't look like you locked up your tire but there may be some skidmarks in your shorts.

You traveled all the way to T-hill from Idaho? You're awsome. I noticed that your first attemt at steering after going into the dirt was twarted by speed and you thought better of it.

I think the plane had something wrong with its clutch or something. Don't know what happened to it.

Try that on a track with a bit less runoff . . . You are lucky there wasn't anything solid nearby.

They had told us earlier that if we went into the grass not to use the front brake so I remembered that. So I tried using a little back brake. Bad idea. The bike immediately started sliding sideways. I thought "well, I do need to slow down here" and also thought about at what point I might actually run into the track going the other way, but fortunately was able to slow it down. I got back on the track and did another lap, thinking of the "get right back on the horse" idea.

BTW, Pilot Powers are great on the track, but they suck on grass.

Btw, that Termi'd Duc w/open clutch sounds freeking great! I forgot how nice those bikes sound - my memory of my Monster is a bit jaded by regret.

I wouldn't think they'd allow a plane on the track for fear of the wing taking out riders.

That thing sounds awesome though. Nice save and glad to see you went right back out there.

You just needed to speed up some more.

Nice save, Whip! It looks like the only obstacles were the mountains miles away. From the sounds of that rattle though, I think you picked up a couple of stones in the process.

It was the olive oil overflow tin can that came loose.

T-Hill does have lots of run-off in most places, one of the nice features of that track.

Stinking Italian weedwackers just don't want to stay out of the weeds do they!?

That turn seems to catch a whole lot of people of guard. T-hill is a blast! Glad you had a great time, now if I could just get you back to Pahrump for Memorial Weekend

Ahhh, Pahrump. Another great track, but alas, now #2 on my favorites list. Heck, the 10 hour drive to T-Hill seemed short compared with the 14 hours to Pahrump! Still wish I could make it down for Memorial Day. Have fun!
