Several of you noticed in the photos I recently posted from my Thunderhill trackdays that I had a video camera setup on the front of my bike. It was my first time using the Twenty20 video unit that I had received for Christmas, and it worked pretty well. I'm probably also going to set up similar quick-mount brackets on the lower panel of the bike and the tail section behind the seat for some additional angles.

Here is a link to a video I just produced from some of the footage I shot. [Right-Click and Save for best results] The rider you see out in front of me is Mark Buckelew, riding his new GSXR-750. Mark is a guy whose posts I had seen on various Ducati internet forums, and met for the first time while down at T-Hill. Great guy and a very good rider!

Nice work on the video and on the track. Which editing software did you use? I like the combo angles, I need to get some footage like this to carry me over the winter

Is there something wrong with your clutch? It sounded a bit noisy...of course it may have been trying to add in more cow bell to the music.

The video quality will be MUCH better on the next one - I didn't have a FireWire cable, so it really lost a lot of the image quality. Next track day is Spokane in early June, so I'll have to make a cool movie with my buddies then.

Nice video yourself! And I might just have to get back down to T-Hill this year. My buddies are talking about going to Reno-Fernley in August, but maybe I can talk them into driving just a few hours more.

Have you ridden the Reno track yet? I've only seen this video of that track.

No, I haven't been yet, but the owners of Ti2TT have, and tell me it's great! The new section & run-off rework is supposed to be completed before we go there in Sep. You can go there when it's not rented out, and pay a small amount to ride it I've heard.

Here is a friend, and Ti2TT coworker (Jason "Shaggy" Schnieder) that finished just ahead of me in 3rd place at Willow Springs in our first race in December.

Notice how fast that track is?....Crazy!! See the guy #777 keep getting by him in turn 1, then he finally takes him in turn 2, and doesn't let him come back up, hehehe. That was a great battle to watch!
