What about a R6? 2001 that is...

I have the oportunity to get a real cheap yamaha r6... for track duty.

we would buy it me and my freind for 3000 canadian. We will both race it and separate the costs.

How does that work? Wouldn't the extra weight be a hinderence?

Hmmm... what happens if one person is running well on the bike but the other person crashes it, sending it out of commission? No hard feelings? Sounds like borrowing money from family or something similar. Tough situation.

Edit: or the person who crashes says he doesn't have the cash to fix it.
