Is anybody going, or has anybody been to this facility before? Im going to try to make it out there one day during the weekend, and was wondering if anyone had any input on if they perfrer north/south/full track. Monday is the ideal choice for me, but the full 3.6mi track sounds like a lot for a novice.

I did the full course with NESBA and it's alot of fun and in my opinion better bang for the buck than North or South seperately. Even for a Novice the combined course isn't fast or techical so the layout makes it easy to ride. The road surface on the other hand is pretty bumpy on the Suuth portion of the course. The Transition between the two courses has a bump in it, end of Turn 4 has a large ripples that really affects braking (stay far to the outside), and the back straight has a dip that's pretty interesting.

The other thing to consider is that STT is notorious for packing as many people on the course as are willing to pay. So you gotta figure the traffic is going to be less dense on the full 3.6 miles than 2 miles.

Thanks for the info, Jag. I was surprised to see your observations about the bumpy surface - I thought it was supposed to be almost brand new. I figured out that with my work schedule, I think that Monday (full course) is the only viable option so we'll see how it goes.

They did a great job in course design and layout but seem to have really skimped on surfacing. Unless they resurface this winter, parts of that course will be in terrible shape by next Spring. Anyway, it's still rideable now, so go out there and ride it.
