Man up, Arizona riders!

Ok, once again another trackday is coming. Team Arizona Trackday Oct 2, 2005 at Firebird West.

I'll be there, will you? Come on out to the track and legally pass a cop and not worry about a ticket.

My bike is in pieces still, but that is being taken care of. I doubt I'll make it though.

Last chance to get Bacchus to ride in the trunk for a session since he is headed down under.

Re: Man up, Arizona riders!

Well, you Arizona guys missed out on a great trackday!

I was feeling really good out there today. I got bumped into the Red(Racer)/Fast group on the third session of the day. I felt a little nervous moving up to the Red group, but got over it when I was able to pass a few people in the Red group and not feel like a back marker, on the track.

I noticed a few difference in groups. The passing in the Red group was closer, faster but was done safer. The Red group guys were very steady and they did not vary off their lines. The Red Group guys were more helpful with hints, knowledge and little tricks to the lines on the track. Seemed like they wanted you to go faster and it made them happy, when you did get faster.

I was doing really good today and ran the fastest I ever ran at the track, till I spun up the rearend and nearly high-sided going into the back straight. I was able to remember to open the throttle and was able to save it! Heh heh heh, freaked me out a little and it slowed me down a little. I did leave a nice 10ft darky off the corner leading into the back straight!
