Post some of your pics from the day for the gang!
It was great to see you guys again. I'm really thinking about finding a way to ride at BeaveRun in October... |

| Re: Let's hear about REDUC at Summit! Great to see you again, TAZ!! Great pics! Actually, though, HondaGalToo is the one in the blue/white leathers! Hee.
I'll have to post some pics, once I figure out how to do that!
Summit Point was great fun! By 11 AM, it stopped raining and the sun came out, so we were treated to a dry track all afternoon. Summit is one place I won't ride at in the rain. Unlike tracks such as BeaveRun, Summit has no traction in the wet. They used to call it 'Slippery Point', and with good reason. One of my friends slid and crashed on rain tires. TAZ got good shots of the entire sequence. We're going there again in September! |

| I made a collage with that crash sequence. It's a shame I was using 'panning' shutter speeds (to blur the wheels and background); the crash sequence would have been better with a faster shutter speed... Here's one of the shots: (Link)
And another: (Link)
The rider just gave it a little too much throttle too early (while still leaned over a good bit). You could see the confidence starting to build, and the Monster's torque was all too eager to spin that rear, rain rubber or not!
(I had a feeling he was feeling a little too confident, which is why I was able to get the sequence...) |

| Re: Let's hear about REDUC at Summit! We had a great time, once the rain stopped. Part of the fun too was finding where Taz was shooting from since there are lots of trees and bushes around the track.
Excellent pics, Taz! I heard folks commenting about how refreshing it is to see more interesting shots. I'll try to post some pics tonight from the bunch you put together for us.
Hope to see you there again...you have to ride that track, you'll be giggling in your helmet when you do, especially on the front straight. |

| Re: Let's hear about REDUC at Summit! Summit's front straight is 3000 feet long, so you can get some good speeds going. *I hit 140 (actual). *I'm sure the fast guys were hitting 150-160. *Here's some more pics of HondaGal and me.
