Re: Cracking Down on Track Noise Levels

Now that is beezarrrr. What sort of screwed up logic is that? Donington Park racetrack is UNDER the final approach flight path for a regional (or international?) airport. My wife took a photo of the belly of a 747 as it passed 200' overhead during the MotoGP. How in the world can anyone complain about the noise of a race track within the landing flight path of an airport? At the time I thought it made a great place to have a race track because of the location in regards to the airport. Granted, I'm sensitive about the noise race tracks emit and how local residents are successful in banning activity at said tracks re: Grattan, Gingerman, Barber, Jennings GP, etc. But near an airport? I don't understand.
