| Re: bwhip's big adventure It's almost here and I can't wait! On Monday, August 25th I'll be in Portland attending my first Reg Pridmore's CLASS session, and getting my first taste of the track.
Today the 'Blade receives a new set of Diablo Corsas in preparation for the big day, along with an oil change, bolt tightening etc.
Thursday night my buddy from the .org 'Trouble' comes over to help me dial in my suspension.
I'm feeling rather * |

| Re: bwhip's big adventure Bwhip, congrats on taking the plunge and good luck with it! $20 says you'll come home seriously hooked on track riding.
I'd appreciate a short write-up when you get back and have time, as I will be taking CLASS at Barber next month. Would be nice to have some more firsthand feedback. |

| Re: bwhip's big adventure You'll have a blast! CLASS is an excellent intro to track riding. Reg is great! If you want instruction one-on-one, be sure to be assertive and ask an instructor to work with you. If you don't, they'll just circulate around during the track drills, hooking up with you if they notice you doing something that needs correcting. Best to grab someone before going out. |

| Re: bwhip's big adventure you'll learn more about yourself, your riding and your bike in one day there then just about a lifetime of street riding!
Have a blast and let us know how it goes!
And don't forget to 'ride your own bike' and do your own thing and what YOU feel comfortable with! |

| Re: bwhip's big adventure Thanks, all. Yes, there will be a full write-up on my return. Sure wish my wife or son was able to be there to take photos or video, but we'll do the best we can in their absence.
Rode the bike home with the new Diablo Corsas tonight. Sweet! Those babies corner like a dream. |

P.S. - If you win the bet w/Pete, can I have the 20 bucks, 'cause I need it a lot more than you do. |

| They are great tires! You'll love 'em on the track, too. I've got 7 1/2 track days on mine and they still look fine. The grip is excellent! |

Red Rider : Another CLASS convert! *You WILL have a blast. *Just relax, enjoy the day, and remember to breathe! (seriously)
| I use to be a CLASS convert too. *But one day Reg's other personallity decided he didn't like me and he turned into a prick. *Won't ever send him another dime. *Try to stay on his good side. I would suggest not asking for $ back when he lowers prices and you've already paid in advance. |
