so who all from TSBR are comin.. ? (sorry ain't had the time to come over and visit the board in a bit)

I'm still plannin on Campin... thought V was as well... but dont' recall what she had come back with about it.... cuz our fav hot tub joint is full....

Who's coming up? Myself (Tom Swigart), Rich Schurfeld, Mike Keene (Ape-X), V (Frenchie), and I'm not sure who else, but I think a few more. I'm going to call the Candlebutt today. I can't wait to hit their continental breakfast buffet!

Hey I'll be there on the 19th, I'm trying to talk the wife into coming out to take photos.

I'll have a red sv650 with fulll bodywork, and a RC51 back up just incase the Sv650 runs like crap. (it not street legal so I can't really test it first)

What time do the gates open again? It been a year or so sence I've been on the track. (Oh the cobwebs)

Driving from Marshall (were I-94 and I-69 meet) about 1.5 hour not bad. I like sleeping in my own bed. Plus I'll be home late from work.

Plus I'm using the wifes truck to pull the trailer, my company car is a lease and not allowed to have a hitch.

I also have a meeting for work the day and night before the trackday in Brighton MI. The meeting is also friday but the boss is letting me play hooky.

if I only had to drive an hour and half then yeah I'd do the same day... but I really dont' mind gettin there the night before (and I took my own mattress with me all last summer LOL)

She is not riding, she has been on Grattan and did not like being passes by people she did not know. She love going to Deals but does not like riding on tracks.

I'm hoping she will be there to take lots of photos with her new digital cam.

We are suposed to have the boys friday night and she will need to be around when they get out of school unless there dad trades nights with us, thats very likely.

I was suppose to be at Deals this week. But due to car pooling problems, I couldn't make it... I'll have to keep ya'll in mind next time we plan to head down. I think they are going again in Sept. At least they usually do.

Sorry to hear she did not enjoy her track experience.. was it with a crowded group that she felt overwhelmed by those who were passing? If it was she should try the smaller events that limit how many are ON THE TRACK at once.. makes a huge difference

Since you are not tooooo far from me you should keep an eye out on Redline's board or website for their ride schedules and come along on the Thumb and Vassar rides.. she'd love those! We take a fun pace at times when appropriate and we have a few good back roads where you can enjoy your ride without cagers on ya...

She keeps up just fine at deals but likes to ride at the back of the pack so she can ride at her own pace. She hates riding next to semi trucks and stuff. I guess non-aggresive is a good description.

The trackday she went to was the Team Chicago one. So yeah there were a few people there.
