| Re: Buttonwillow, Sat. March 4. Be sure to take advantage of the Novice school. You will get classroom instruction in between on track sessions and all day instruction on the track, too. If you want to blow of your isntructor and work on something yourself, then so be it, you have that option.
Additionally, Outside passes are allowed in the Novice group as long as you keep a distance of 6' between you and the rider you are passing.
It's a great way to get introduced to the track. |

Gas is available at the track; however, it is more expensive there. I usually fill my bike all the way up and bring a 5 gallon can. Sometimes, I'm lazy and just buy gas at the track, though. |

| Re: Buttonwillow, Sat. March 4. Camping is a little primitive. They don't let yuo in the pits until the morning, so you have to camp on the access road. I have a toy haulers, so it's a warm bed for me. I've seen people pitch tents or just camp in their cars, too. |

I am trying to keep costs down but it would be nice to get another day in at that track if I plan on doing the first race weekend. Is anyone going with you? |

| Re: Buttonwillow, Sat. March 4. What color van? I'll look for you.
As a side note, I've never had a problem getting help unloading my stuff. I often just turn to whoever is pitted next to me. If that doesn't work out, just ask the people doing registration and they'll make sure you get a hand. |

| Re: Buttonwillow, Sat. March 4. I've got to transport a couple of bikes for friends, so I'll only have room for my race bike (SV650). WetShrub will also be there on his race SV and I haven't gotten a confrimation as to whether or not Dave will be showing up on his 929.
Another one of the regular riders, Dan, has a silver/red F4. He absolutely moves on it. Zero upgrades, dead stock. A lot of dun to watch |
