From Phew! to Woo-Hoo!
Yesterday was great, but today was AWESOME. First thing I did this morning was move my footpegs on my Sato rearsets down and slightly forward, to give my heels more room so I could ride without worrying about my toes dragging. What a difference! Suddenly I had great freedom in my riding position, and it was like night and day.

What a fun day. The weather was spectacular once again, and the RC (with new foot position) was everything I hoped it would be. Fast, fun, and very rideable.

I definitely accomplished my objectives for the weekend:
  • Have fun
  • Ride smart
  • Keep the rubber side down
  • Learn the new bike
  • Tweak the settings on the new bike
  • Work on being smooth and picking good lines
Where yesterday I was understandably a bit tentative, today it was just pure fun and freedom. Exactly what I do trackdays for. I can't wait for the next ones!
