Michelin Tires?

Ok looking for a set of tires for the bike. Used a set of Michelin Power Race tires in Med/Med last year, felt good for my level and felt comfortable on them. Looking this year at several brands but seem to go back looking at the Michelins again. I see they have an "M2" but not much info on them, only that the front is not real rounded on the edges as with the power race.

Ok explain this to me like I'm a 2 year old. What is the difference and have you ridden on them.

Re: Michelin Tires?

I've ridden and crashed a few times on the M2 front M2 rear. They're the tires that the Power Race has now replaced. I liked the profile on them, it allowed me to turn into the corner much faster/easier, or at least it felt that way to me. If you're not running warmers they take an eternity to warm up, for that reason alone I wouldn't buy them. STT I think is still selling them for cheap. If I remeber correctly they are selling a set that has a Power Race front and M2/H2 rear. IMO the S2/M2/H2 tires are okay, but for the same price or cheaper you can get a set of Pirelli Supercorsas from Tiger Shark Racing for the same price if not cheaper. I think the Pirellis are a lot better than the older Michelins, but thats just my opinion. If you have the money to spend I would just go w/ the Power Race, I've run a few sets of those and they are a great tire. I also know a few guys, some who are CCS champs that are running Bridgestone 002s and they love them.
