| Re: Michelin Tires? I've ridden and crashed a few times on the M2 front M2 rear. They're the tires that the Power Race has now replaced. I liked the profile on them, it allowed me to turn into the corner much faster/easier, or at least it felt that way to me. If you're not running warmers they take an eternity to warm up, for that reason alone I wouldn't buy them. STT I think is still selling them for cheap. If I remeber correctly they are selling a set that has a Power Race front and M2/H2 rear. IMO the S2/M2/H2 tires are okay, but for the same price or cheaper you can get a set of Pirelli Supercorsas from Tiger Shark Racing for the same price if not cheaper. I think the Pirellis are a lot better than the older Michelins, but thats just my opinion. If you have the money to spend I would just go w/ the Power Race, I've run a few sets of those and they are a great tire. I also know a few guys, some who are CCS champs that are running Bridgestone 002s and they love them. |
