| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club The track is great fun! Nice surface and fast.
The facilities are improving since the track is still 'new'. There are bathrooms w/ showers. There are also some porta potties around the grounds as well.
What other info are you looking for? Place to stay? Where to eat?
I've been there a few times already so ask away. |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club What HG said..it's a really nice track. This is only the second season it's been open, so the cars haven't chewed it up too much yet. Fairly smooth surface. Nice elevation changes, and some fast spots. Make sure the organizers don't allow passing at turn 9...the kink on the back straight section. The track doesn't want passing there..our club allows it on the outside only. It's very high speed thru there, so if folks try to pass it could easily end up in a high speed collision. Otherwise, great track, flows really nice.
Facilities are getting there.
Have fun! |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club Thanks for the replys. Any suggestions on best lines through corners? Glad to hear it isn't torn up too much. I'm looking forward to it. |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club On recommendation for the carousel.....double apex it. It works better that way. Everything else, you'll find the lines easily enough. Also, just watch out for the quick left corner at the end of the front straight. It sneaks up on you just when you're cresting the incline. I saw 2 guys almost collide there. One did a perfect 12 o'clock stoppie and managed to keep the bike up when he ran off of the track. Other than that, have fun!!!!! |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club Just got home from BeaveRun. Had a good time. Not a difficult track to learn, wish it was longer. I liked the elevation changes and the corners were laid out great. It has some bumps that caused some head shake while pinned in 5th gear. Good traction and use a Med. compound rear tire (not S2 rear as I learned). The track eats the right side. Ran the advanced group at this SBTT event. Very different abilities and lines in this group! By late Sunday, everyone had got with the program and we were lapping in the 1:04 range. Overall a good event except there was not tire service! Dang. I won't count on any Michelin support in the future. Great tires but the service sucks.
There was kart racing both days and that was fun checking out. Sunday there was an SCCA Solo2 event to watch. Loads of cars burning up tires. I'll go back next year. |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club Glad you had fun! I didn't realize you were running with STT. I've ridden with them and was actually hoping to attend that event, but my schedule wouldn't allow it. Did you happen to meet 2 girls who ride Ducati 748s in the Advanced group? They're friends of mine. |

| Re: BeaveRun Motorsports Club Oh yeah, we met them. Cool girls and fast riders too. I had a blast following them around. They wouldn't give up a corner and rode side by side with me on occasion. Good smooth lines and a pleasure to be on the track riding fast with them. We chatted in the paddock too. Funny and animated. They sure know how to hustle those Ducatis around a track. One of my team got them on video and we showed them the footage. They laughed at how they looked through the corners. Cool girls. |
