| Tomorrow!
The metzler Racetech tires did good. I had the K1 and K2 combo. Did well in the A.M. but when the track started to get hot the front was giving me plenty of warning. Wear is good, we will see how they do with the litre bikes tomorrow.
The day was sponsored by CurveChasers, pretty well run event although a little on the strict side. One thing IO was disapointed in was they eliminated the Novice group and just had Intermediate 1 & 2 which was not all that bad but, they eliminated passing to straights only. I volunteered to go in I-1 due to just getting back on the track for the first time this year and I would be trying suspension setting mainly. They had 3 guys in our group that thought the entracce was a lemonade stand and they were thirsty, they almost came to a complete stop and gassed on it and changed race lines all over the place so it made a safe pass almost impossible. Of course they all had litre bikes and could not ride worth a ****. But it did get me to concentrate on passing strategy and reading other riders and Road rage suppression. After lunch I had my suspension set pretty good and had a good tire pressure going I started to move back up but talked to a couple of guys in I-2 and it was crowded so I stayed where I was at, and I knew who the parking lot attendants were. I did not get a chance to get any laptimes but will have some tomorrow. Southpark, you still comming?
All in all we all had a great time. |

| Re: Hammer VS Putnam Round 2 Had a wonderful day today, lemonade was only being sold at the concession stand today, and not at T-1.
Brought the family and they are all burnt from the sun. No crashes, except 1 dropped bike in the pits (Cough, Cough,Dave), and Baketech will tell later about a beltsander episode.
Here are the pics I got today (well my wifey and son) |
