 | How late is Putnam still warm? How late is Putnam still warm? Unlike some I LIKE hot track days (103 at Barber was a bit rough though). Further my goals for '06 list is rather pathetic and I am plotting track days for the rest of the year. My goal was 2 new tracks and so far I have zero. Putnam and Jennings are the best candidates since Talladega is going to be closed for mods. So how cold is it in September at Putnam Indy folks? Remember blue wool freezes at 50.

| Re: How late is Putnam still warm? It's great weather for a track day imho, but probably not if you like it hot.......  Average temp that time of year is around 72 for the high, and mid 50's at night. The morning sessions will definitely start out in the 60's... I usually do the late September session there, but will be missing it this year due to a schedule conflict...

 just making up the rest of the years plan and budget. Hopefully this will even include RC fork work  in a couple of weeks. Of course I am not fond of starting the am in thermals (Grattan was a bit chilly at night this year)
