| Re: Putnam 8-6-06 It was really weird being at the track but not riding...
SoB glad you made it home okay...
Your trailer setup kicks ass...
Hammer...was good to see you out looking good on the track a year later. Wish you had run the last session so I could spend more unsupervised time with Joyce...
KB...surpised you were able to take so much time off from running your "route". Get that orange bitchy fixed so we can ride next time.
Evl... will you ever run out of cooler bikes than mine to ride around on...
Seamus, sorry about the tourist pace on the way up, but that's how us slow old VFR guys get around...
Posted a couple of pics in the GALLERY...couldn't get a shot of Seamus, as he was too big to fit in the viewfinder....

| Re: Putnam 8-6-06 I fit, you didn't back up far enough. I am 7' feet tall you know.
How come you didn't post the pic you took of Hammer changing in the trailer? Or are you keeping that one for yourself? |

| Re: Putnam 8-6-06 Sorry it's taken so long to reply, but after riding home yesterday afternoon I tried to get a nap in before going to work last night, and now I just got home from a lovely fun-filled afternoon of jury duty. I only took a couple of pictures, I should have taken more!
It was really good to see the familiar faces again, and meet a new one. Seamus, I hope we can hook up on a trackday where we're ON the track, and not just NEXT TO IT!!
Sheep, sorry it took so long to get you the Grattan videos, but at least I got em to ya, now for the rest of the people still holding out on theirs...
Hammer, I have some work to do next time we're both riding Putnam to keep you in sight! Good job on dropping your times, and getting the confidence back.
Baketech, next time we need to be out there mixing it up! (and not with the belt sander)
Kawboy, get that POS Kawi back together soon and get it back on the track!!!
- Austin Powers (or is it Dr. Evl?)

| Re: Putnam 8-6-06 OK so here is a bit of a review:
Fun track and I would go to Curvechasers again.
Pretty well run a couple of things I would have changed but if anyone put me in charge of safety Probably a lynching would follow. A lot of reds in the Intermediate2 group but I think there was zero injuries all day They seemed to toss reds when other orgs might have used a yellow but better to err on safetys side. Oh and I said something to the head orginizer and here is the suggestion: use a BLUE flag to signal liter bikes to let someone by
The track is a lot different than anything I have ridden. Fairly level and more flowing, while I have ridden technical tracks until now. Good experience and I think I will be better for it. That said turn 5 freaked me out all day which is a shame because 4 may have been my best turn (I NEED a counter clockwise track).
So in all I have to give Curvechasers and Putnam
Oh and everyone showing up was an extra bonus. Now here is a video of a lap with the flock (Putnam2) and some from Hammer's bike (Hammer). While we road in the same group I was at the back and he was in the front so you will detect a speed difference.

| Re: Putnam 8-6-06 Think I found the codec issue. I thought I had H264 but had a different version of MP4. 'doz can read H264... I will redo them.
EDIT: Formats should be fixed above...
