| Re: How is Carolina Motorsports Park? CMP is a relatively small track...I went a few years back for a NESBA day and I had a good time...it is located in Kershaw, SC which is in BFE!!...It has some tar snakes, not too much in the way of safety fences, tires, etc., but the pavement is smooth with a few bumps...The front straight is kinda short, but the carousel is really nice as well...a couple of high speed sections with some nice switchbacks too....not one of the better tracks I've been too(with the other being VIR!), but it is definitely serviceable! hope you have a good time.... |

| Re: How is Carolina Motorsports Park? full track.
First section is open and flowing, second section is tight and corner then straight, corner then straight...
I've been there 3 times I think. I like it, would rather ride VIR for my money, but it's good for a quick fix... |

| Re: How is Carolina Motorsports Park? Thanks just need something before November at Baa-rber. Little Talladega is closed for remodel and nothing seems to be on at Road Atlanta. So the next tracks are a bit further. With Putnam and CMP being 8 or less hours. Summit Point, Jennings and VIR are a couple hours further. I could almost do Grattan as easy as VIR, though I might freeze there in October |

| Re: How is Carolina Motorsports Park? sheeple, if you can do VIR, it's definitely worth it.......I dunno the schedule for the remainder of the year, so you may to check into that....VIR is awesome...both sections(north and south) are challenging with plenty of elevation changes and the sort....I know it's a good drive for ya, but it'll be worth it.....IMO.. |
