NESBA, Sept 16-17 @ Gingerman

Anyone going to attend this event. I was thinking of doing this one for my first ever track day. I like what I have heard and read about NESBA, so I thought I would give them a try. I was originally planning on STT on Sept 30th, but that ain't gonna work out. I will be riding with the novice group and pulverizing the instructor with question, because thats how I am. Its not a sure thing yet, but if some others are going, it might help push me in the right direction. Any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Later

Jon

Neither NESBA nor STT offer a true beginner class compared to Pridmore's CLASS program. Unfortunately there aren't any more CLASS dates scheduled for this year in our reqion, but I would highly recommend you consider it for next season when they come to Grattan.

Jon, find the smartest, most experienced control rider there and ask him to give you lots of feedback. Take it easy and you'll be just fine.

I found it hard to get a feel for Gingerman for a lot of laps. Watch out for the last right onto the straight.. not only is the pit out just to the left, but there is a fairly entertaining dip right at the apex, when you want to get on the gas. That's where I decided that a steering damper was worth $400.00.

Thanks for the advice, I will watch out for that dip for sure. I just wanted to see if anyone from this forum would be out there. Red Rider, I will definately check Pridmore out next season.

Thanks again

Jon
