| 2007 Track Day Advice OK… So I have run all the Apex to Apex events this year at Grattan and one Sport Bike Track Time event at BeaverRun. It looks like I am hopelessly hooked on trackdays now so looking ahead to 2007, what should I be putting on my Calendar? Around the Midwest, what tracks are favorites? What track day organizations do people like to use and what are the differences? Thanks in advance… |

| Re: 2007 Track Day Advice Wait till January 1, 2007 when all the schedule will come out and pick what you want...... but.......... you better do all the Fireblades events first
Edit: Every single track events for me has been a blessing... I loved them all. |

| Re: 2007 Track Day Advice Hey G Dog!
A2A is looking into the 2007 season with some new ideas. Schedule information probably won't be likely until around late December - early January though.
I haven't been to a track I didn't like yet. But then, I've only been to a few. Putnam with the Nesbas was cool (but ruined my expensive Michelin dual BS tires). Autobahn was... well... raining when we were there with Frenchie and E.. I'll have to get back to that one next year I guess. Mid Ohio with STT was a hoot! Those AMA guys sure are fast!
They're all good in their own way. |

you might as well throw Gingerman on that list, too, Gordon.
And maybe Nelson Ledges...although I have heard good/bad things about that track...anybody been there???
Stick with A2A, NESBA (they seem to have a good reputation here), and STT.(not that there are many choices)
I'd like to hit Grattan (duh), Gingerman, Mid-Ohio, Blackhawk, Autobahn, BeaveRun, and maybe Putnam and Nelson Ledges next year, although I am not sure about the last 2 from what I have heard. |

| Re: 2007 Track Day Advice BeaverRun was a lot of fun. It was not quite as challenging as Grattan but it is a nice facility and the track is nice and smooth compared to Grattan. I got a chance to sort out the gsxer and I think it is going to be perfect for me. The paint will go on over the winter. I’m still trying to decide on colors. |

Not as quite challenging as Grattan and smoother? You couldn't had said it better.
If they would repave Grattan, that would be soooo awesome.. I love that track |

| Re: 2007 Track Day Advice Looks like there is a good group forming for track days. Linus and I have been talking about getting to other tracks other than Grattan next year.
We will all definetly have to coordinate our days for next year |

Thinking of road tripping to Road America next year for the races. Mid-O in October doesn't make sense to me, i really only went because another buddy wanted to go. The heat races would have been fun to watch if the factory guys participated |
