I had a great time riding around Laguna Seca with
Red Shift. This was the first time I had even seen the track, let alone ride it.
We were very lucky with the weather. The forecast was windy with showers in the morning and steady rain in the afternoon. It turned out to calm and cloudy most of the day with a little sun poking through around lunchtime. The wind got up around 3pm, and the first drops of rain fell at about 4pm. The very last C group session was abandoned after one lap.
The track was in fairly good condition with a few sandy spots where previous rain had washed stuff down from the hills.
The other piece of luck was that the sound police seemd to be taking a day off. No one saw the 92db limit being enforced though there were a few quite loud bikes out there.
