| North/East Riding Schools??? I'm moving out of the frozen state of Ak to Pittsburgh, PA in a few months. The riding season up here is very minimal (maybe may-september) if weather permits. Now that I'm moving to a place where the weather is a little more normal, I'm interested in getting into a school this summer at some point.
So...does anyone know of a good school/track close to Pittsburgh or Pennsylvania even? |

| Re: North/East Riding Schools??? Mid-Ohio is in Mansfield about 1/2 way between Columbus and Cleveland and has a good school and AMA races in August and October. Also check out NESBA.com - Sportbike Track Day Organization. |

| Re: North/East Riding Schools??? Pocono is still going to be a drive...although if you do plan on making a trip there for a track day keep me in mind. I would think Beaverun or Mid-Ohio would be more in your neighborhood though. |

| Re: North/East Riding Schools??? Closest two tracks to P-burg I can think of off the top of my head are BeaveRun, which is the closest, and Mid-Ohio. Both are really nice tracks. Organizations that run trackdays there are Sportbike Track Time Sportbike Track Time - Get on the right track !! Toll Free #888-390-4020, and NESBA NESBA.com - Sportbike Track Day Organization
Team ProMotion also runs days at the Beave, but not Mid-Ohio.
All three of these schools offer instruction in their Novice groups.
There are probably other groups as well. |
