| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Yeah, we've known Mary for years.
We'll be out there with Reduc the weekend after you guys. *If you want to ride there again, you're welcome to join us. *The cornerworking requirement is waived for TPM and Nesba members. *You'd just need to pay a one weekend $30 membership fee (convertible to an active membership for an additional $70 should you decide to ride with us again), in addition to the track fee. That goes for any of our events, actually. |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun I'm awaiting word on whether I'll be covering this event in the absence of RaceDayPhoto. As of yesterday afternoon, it was all arranged, but something happened this morning that threw a wrench in the works, so I'm not sure yet.
If we're there (Event Photo Now!, introduce yourself and let me know your Fireblades handle, and we'll give you 50% off pics or CD's!
P.S. I'm supposedly covering the REDUC event on the 11-12 as well, but with the politics and all, you never know...
RIDE SAFE, gang! |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun I'll be there with a group of friends from sportbikes.com.
I'm looking forward to meeting some of you there. Last time we went to BVR (last month with Sportbike Track Time) we were almost all the way down by turn 1.
I've got an 02 silver and black 954 that is mostly stock and driving a sand colored Nissan Frontier.
I'll be there for both days and I'm spending every minute between now and then praying for good weather. |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Bring a warm jacket/hat gloves...last year it was very cold in the morning, some folks were wearing down filled jackets. It warmed up later in the day though.
We'll look for you too Voodoo. We'll be in a British racing green Tundra with a tan trailer. We're the only gals riding 'blades so it shouldn't be too hard to find us. |

| Wait...THIS thread is about TPM...surely the HondaGals aren't riding BOTH events, right?
I understood Voodoo to say he'd be at BeaveRun THIS weekend with TPM, and expect the Gals to be there NEXT weekend with REDUC, yes?
In any case, I'm definitely there THIS weekend, and likely NEXT weekend as well. Things have changed three times already this week! (First I wasn't going, then I was, then they changed their minds, but finally, it seems I WILL be allowed to cover the event. However, next year, only the 'official track photographer' will be permitted to do pics at the venue...) |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Yup, you're right TAZ. We will not be there this weekend with TPM. We will be there next weekend with Reduc. STT has reciprocal agreements with both TPM and Reduc, so it seems voodoo is riding with TPM. So, voodoo, don't look for us if you'll be there the 4 & 5, we won't be there then! |

Hondagal - have fun next weekend.
I hope it'll be warmer for you than it is supposed to be for this weekend. Sunday, the highs are only going to be 44 F-ing degrees!
What the hell is that all about?!
Oh well.
I'll be seeing you there TAZ.
I wonder if my snowboarding gear will fit over my leathers............................ |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Yep, that's me, Mary's friend, and if you remember Ben and Sue, them too.
I won't be with Reduc for a few reasons. One being that I don't do many weekdays and the other is that being a coach for TPM I don't pay to ride either
Last time RaceDayPhoto was there I heard he paid more than twice he has ever paid for the privilidge to take pics.
Anyway, if anyone cares to say hi, I will be there on the 929 painted TPM colors with number 929(Duh) on it Seeya!
Bob
p.s. have fun on Mon! |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Hi Bob! One of these days I may get to a TPM event. Time and $$ get to be a factor. I usually do every Reduc event, and this year I threw in the fireblades.org weekend, and a weekend at Mid-Ohio with STT. I've been hanging with Reduc since '95. Lots of good friends there.
Say hi to Mary this weekend. Hope the weather holds for you, and for us next Sat and Sun.
Yeah, I can't believe the hard time they're giving TAZ and Dennis. |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Well, I'm sorry to report that 'Event Photo Now!' will not be at BeaveRun this weekend (Oct. 4-5). Without getting into the details, we'll just say it's the result of some stupid politics. Unfortunately, it's the club members who will suffer if no photos are available. Wednesday morning I had confirmation that I was to be there, but by dinnertime that night I had been uninvited.
I'm interested to hear if Fred Voit (BeaveRun's 'official photographer') covers the event for TPM. To my knowledge, RaceDayPhoto is covering NESBA at Pocono this weekend, which is why I was asked to do the TPM event in the first place.
Incidentally, BeaveRun has decided to allow NO outside photographers in 2004. The vendor fee they have THIS year makes it difficult to justify doing events there. Add the vendor fee to five hours' travel time, having to pay an assistant, covering costs for meals and lodging (if we don't camp), materials and consumables, and cold weather, it's difficult to even cover expenses...
Sorry the plans got changed on us, gang! I hope to work things out and see you at a future event!
P.S. AFAIK, I will still be at BeaveRun for REDUC on 10/11-12... |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun It was pretty nasty weather on Saturday. It cleared up around lunch, but was windy. I started in the Novice group as I have never run an event with TPM, but was bumped to Advanced by mid-day Sunday. I set a personal best of 1:06.33 Sunday afternoon. Now I just need to get my forks done. Stock springs aren't condusive to confidence under heavy braking.
Bob, it was good to meet you. I'm look forward to running more events with TPM next year.
Taz, Sucks that you weren't able to make it. I was looking forward to giving you some money! |

| Re: TPM @ BeaveRun Right about the weather. Sat was rainy in the am but was rocking after lunch. Sunday started cold but was sunny all day!
Great to meet you Voodoo, you rock! I did notice you and 2 other riders speeds right away and suggested to some coaches to watch you and move you up if necessary. Way to go!

| Oh. I was ABLE to make it...the club just told me they didn't need/want a photographer for the weekend for some (unknown) reason.
..and you wouldn't really be GIVING me money; you'd be getting something for it!
Hopefully TPM will ask me to come out to some future events... |

Taz, I kinda figured there was more to the story. Hopefully things will sort themselves out and you can get out there and do your thing. |
