| Re: VIR Nov16-17 i havent ridden the South course, but i never miss a nesba date on the North course. *i think i've done ~8 days there so far. *the key for VIR-North is to let it flow. *its technical, fast & lots of fun as long as you string all of the corners together - keyword is flow. *the two most critical points, in my opinion, are the front staight and turn 4 (the left hook). *on the front straight, they key is the bend/kink at the tree. *keep it pinned and lean just before the tree. *you can pretty much hold whatever line you have (inside, outside or middle) without making it an actual 'turn'. *for the left hook, turn in very late so you can straighten out turn 5 and be properly prepared for the esses (5a, 6 & 6a). *enjoy! |
