Great to have met you too sir. I'm sure we will meet again. Hopefully next time we will have better weather and I can chase the sheep a little closer. I had no idea that sheep could move like that.

| Re: Kentucky gets new track!!! Well, the first track day was scheduled for 4-11 & 12. It was canceled due to track surface not being finished. Now the 5-13 date is a no-go as well. Rumor is they have run out of $$$ and there is still ALOT of work to be done. |

| Re: Kentucky gets new track!!! No, the bank won't release funding until the latest permits are approved for the parking area construction. Once they are approved by the state they need to lay the final topcoat of asphalt. The contractor has filed a lien on the property pending payment.

| Re: Kentucky gets new track!!! Ride Report........
Wow what a day! We left Louisville this morning and took the back roads all the way to Sparta, which was great. We had decided to go up and take a look at the track for ourselves. Stopped in the gas station up from the track and the President of the Bluegrass Motorsports Park (Brad) was there filling up his car. We talked to him for a few minutes and he gave us permission to ride the track! So 7 of us took quite a few laps and got some pictures. Man, its gonna be an awesome track in a couple weeks. I'm soo excited to have such a place in our neck of the woods.
Thanks to Brad and the guys at the track for such a great day! Looking forward to opening weekend!

| Re: Kentucky gets new track!!! Brad was a pretty cool guy and he says its all good, and that its gonna be operational in a week or so. He says the Corp of Engineers is taken care of and all the legalities are solved. But the tire barriers aren't up yet and the top coat isn't on. Supposedly it takes 10 days for the top coat to cure and that means we are cutting it pretty close for the end of the month.
Word on the street is that there is an SCCA event a few days before the STT event and it has already been canceled.STT says its still a go, so I'm hoping for the best..... hoping really hard.
