I recently crashed during a race and broke my lap timer, an XT Racing Ultra Lap. The case is made of billet aluminum so it's pretty strong but the LCD screen was cracked and unreadable. I e-mailed XT and asked if they sell repair parts or if they offered a repair service. Almost immediately I received a reply stating that they do make repairs and it usually costs around $20, just send it in. I sent it in the next day. A couple days later I got another e-mail saying that the repairs are complete and that they just needed my CC# to bill me. W/ shipping it cost me $25 and about of week of down time. It could have been a lot quicker if I shipped it overnight but I was in no hurry (as my bike still resembles garden mulch). So I can't recommend them enough, they were very responsive and courteous.
