A couple of weeks ago I was in need of chain/sprocket kits for my 9 and The Little Woman's F4i. After calling all over and scouring the net I found out that nobody had anything. They either didn't stock or were out of stock. If an order was placed then it would be 2 to 4 weeks before I'd see anything.

So I was browsing Sport Rider and saw the ad for StarCycle, which I was aware of but had never done business with and didn't think to check them earlier. So I called, Well, they had none in stock but Lynn there took my bike info and said he'd call me. I know how that usually goes so pretty much wrote that off.

Wonder of wonders...he calls me back in about 15 minutes. He'd located one kit for my 9 at one of his suppliers and another kit for the F4 from another. Each had one in stock. Well...you know how that usually goes. It's phantom inventory.

I order them and he gets on the phone asap, orders the parts, and calls me back first thing the next day with a confirmation that they were indeed at his supplier and were en route to him.

They shipped them to me the same day they arrived at their warehouse and I had the kits something like 4 days after I ordered them.

Just wanted to pass on a positive experience.
