Motorcyclebatteriesusa, poor customer service

I bought a battery from motorcyclebatteriesusa back in January and it was a bad battery. They agreed to refund my money and I agreed to ship it back for a refund. I still have not got my refund and it's been months. They apologized for the "poor customer service" and stated they would even reimburse me the shipping back to them after they stated they would not unless it was thier screw up. They have no phone number to contact them, just e-mail which has been ignored mostly. It's only $63.00 but it's the point that they stated in an e-mail that I would be credited and it still has not happened. It's been over 60 days so my credit card company is of no help at this point.

Word of warning, buy your batteries locally so if you have a problem, you can talk to a human and get the problem straightened out in person. It wasn't worth the money saved. In the long run I'm out $63.75 for the battery, $15.00 to ship it back and $80.00 for my dealer to diagnose that it wasn't any electrical problem with my bike. I couldn't believe a new battery was junk and since I've already replaced a rectifier under warranty, I wanted to be sure it wasn't that again due to my warranty running out soon.

To think at this point, I ordered it through them to save a few bucks and missed the track day that weekend waiting for this part to come from California when I should have just gone down to the local stealer and gone to the track that weekend. Lesson learned. The money wasted would have paid for the track fees, food and gas....

Rant mode off.....

And where may I ask where that phone number came from???

E-mails have been ignored but when they were answered, they were very apologetic and sympathetic although still no credit to my account.

Re: Motorcyclebatteriesusa, poor customer service

You think that is bad with a $70 battery try waiting 8 weeks(still counting BTW) for over $2000 worth of stuff

Sucks to hear it, and I can more than certainly feel your pain...Keep your chin up...

Re: Motorcyclebatteriesusa, poor customer service

I ordered a battery tender and adapter from motorcyclebatteriesusa last month and they never sent my order or replied to any e-mail requests I sent them. When I read about others experiences here I immediately got in touch with my credit card company and had them reject the charges, guess what, I got an e-mail telling me it was back ordered and they claimed to have been sending me info. Here is my suggestion; DO NOT ORDER FROM MOTORCYCLEBATTERIESUSA.
Thanks for sharing and I check here before I buy from other places.
