| Motorcycle-Superstore = SCAM So, last week (10/3) I ordered a pair of JR Ballistic pants. I got them today (I swear an African swallow carrying coconuts could deliver faster...).
When I opened the box, I immediately knew something wasn't right as I was holding leather pants instead of textile. Further inspection led to the discovery of flowers on the bottoms of the pants, and little flowery buttons up top. "Uh-oh"...
So I look at the tag... "Womens M Trixie Pant"....
Call the rep up and get started with the RMA process. I'm not pissed, just dissapointed that some `tard can't even get the d*mn gender right.
While I'm on the phone with the rep, she tells me "Hmm, that's an '05 item, I think we might be out of stock." Then she says, "Yes, we'll have to get them (?) and it'll take a couple days but we'll overnight them to you."
Then I start thinking, did they not have them in stock in the first place and I got shipped _anything_ just to meet the shipping date? With them knowing that I'd have to RMA it... Starts to smell like Fry's Electronics to me.
So, has anyone dealt with this store and had the same experience? Or am I just being a paranoid prick?
Update: 10/15/05
It's official. This place is a scam.
I called just now to find out when I would recieve my proper order and that I would be shipping the mis-sent item back today.
I was told that they will not ship the proper product until I send back the RMA item. Which is NOT what the rep I spoke to on Wednesday said.
I cancelled my order and will buy elsewhere.
DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SHOP. They'll send you anything and drag out the process as long as they can. They don't give a rats a$$ about anything but making a buck and screw the customer, we've got his/her dollar already.
I shouldn't have even started the RMA processs and just sold the damn pants on eBay or something....
Edit:
Apologies for the mis-forum. Thanks for putting it in the proper place.

| Re: Motorcycle-Superstore = SCAM I have ordered from them on many occasions. No complaints here. As a matter of fact, I recieved my last order from about two weeks ago. I got a pair of A* boots. I have had good luck with them.
As far as them not shipping your order until the incorrect item has returned, that is standard operating procedure for most place that I have dealt with. |

Would you send someone something before you got the return back? They're just keeping you honest.

However, I was told that my correct order would be sent and I could send the wrong order back this Saturday.
If the rep would have been honest with me and said that thier policy is to wait until the product is returned, I wouldn't have had any problem. But that is not what I was told. |

| Re: Motorcycle-Superstore = SCAM I look at New Enough before anywhere else when I want to buy any clothing. They are phenomenal to deal and have been completely honest with me at all times. I have purchased literally thousands of dollars of clothing from them and will continue to do so. |
