| Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC Well, I now know who will get ALL my tire installation business.
When I called to check around, I was told $20 per wheel if you bring the wheels and tires in, which is a deal compared to anyone else around here.
When I got the bill, it was $16 total. (It would have been $10 if I wanted to dispose of the old tires myself.)
The guy told me he always quotes the higher price on the phone because people will bring in nasty muddy dirt bike tires that they have to spend time cleaning up/etc. But as long as you bring in clean, good condition stuff, it's $10. He said he was out to steal everyone's service work. North Carolina Motorcycle ATV Dealer - Performance Honda of Raleigh, NC - Watercraft Scooter Generator Pump Lawn mower Power Equipment |

| Re: Tire Installation - Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC It only took the guy about 15 minutes to do it, while I stood there, so I can't see them losing money doing it at that price. |

| Re: Tire Installation - Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC They were changing my tires out in 2004 for that price too. I think Doug is the shop supervisor and he has a very level head about labor rates. |

| Re: Tire Installation - Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC I just got shafted for the usual 20 per tire! 60 bucks an hour took him less than 15 minutes.

| Re: Tire Installation - Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC they've done all my tires too... one time I went in there and the guy told me if I'd just tip the installer, he'd forget I ever came in... This was a long time ago and I don't think he's there anymore, but the mood is still the same there... They really hook you up and are careful with your wheels too.
Good shop. |

DP Powersports ( bikeoholic) in Canton is very reasonable. Well, his service rates are, anyway. Closer than NC, too. |

| Re: Performance Honda - Raleigh, NC Thats great pricing for sure. Around my area its an average of $35-$40 for a set....... Front and rear. Or about $20-$25 for a single change. Luckily for me it pays to know a few people here and there. |
